Had a great but wet ride to Charleston this spring, end of May first weeks of June, 2200 miles thru TN, NC, SC and GA, had a few too many(600) miles in relatively hard rains but in general the ride was well worth the pain. Did Nashville, Great Smokies NP, Wheels thru Time and Biltmore house, saw Ft.Sumter and Ft.Pulaski with Tybee Island, got to sample Jack Daniels at the distillery(now available on the tours) and the Dickel Distillery was fun. All in all, great roads, good food and fun for 14 days.
Now we align for a 2600 mile run from home in MO to and thru Colorado, thought about trailering but decided no this time. Doing US 50 to Emporia Ks and Dodge City then drop to Trinidad, Creede, Black Canyon and Steamboat then to Estes park down thru Pine into Woodland Park and Cripple Creek to Colorado Springs then to Pueblo and back home along US 50.
