While traveling on the BRP a few years ago we stopped in at the Mabry Hill restaurant for lunch (I think it's closed now).
After eating I was shopping in their gift shop area and purchased a few things, one of which was a bottle of hot sauce named Forge Hill, which I later gave to a friend as a gift.
He absolutely loved that sauce and has been trying, unsuccessfully, to locate a source to order more.
I don't know if the sauce was made by, or was specific to the Mabry Hill restaurant, or if it may be available at other local restaurants.
I'm hoping that perhaps someone on this website may be from that area and may know (and can tell me) if it is still available, and if so, where I can obtain it?
I have a few friends who are really hot sauce lovers and I try to select local brands as opposed to the big name brands which are available everywhere.
I was at the Big Texan Restaurant in Amarillo, TX a few years back and bought three bottles for them, named "Lazy A**, Dumb A**, and Smart A**" then wrapped them in brown paper and allowed them to select "their" bottle!
