saddle sore
1,000 miles in less than 24 hours.
A running clock.
Get a start witness.
Fill your tank up and the time on the electronic receipt is your starting time.
Start riding.
Every time you get fuel keep your receipt.
After 1,000 miles fill up the final time and that is your stop time.
Get an ending witness.
If you have stopped longer than 20 minutes anyplace, you need to log it.
You send in the log with your stops, times, locations marked on a map, and receipts.
Done.
Easier than it sounds. More a test of will and determination than anything else.
The longer rides start taking a toll.

The secret is efficiency. Plan a route that is as fast as you can. All interstates. Make fast fuel stops. No more than 10 minutes from highway exit to entrance. Avoid cities if you can. Avoid rush hours.
Good Luck
