We're headed down this weekend. Hope for a break in the rain for the next week. Going to head from there over to Cumberland Gap via northern Tennessee, all on 2 lane. Then its up through Va over to 23N back home. If the rain is with us after a few days in Cave City, we'll probably make some other plans for the loop homeward......

Mammoth Cave!!!Great Place!! Ive been many times.My immediate family lived in Florida for many years and we would come up to Chicago to visit Grandparents ect.We would always stop in Mammoth Caves. Great Camping and different lodging in park.You can also find decent lodging outside the park.
Cave is huge with many different tours.Be ready to hike!! :-)
