BTW, mine is a CVO SG, 12" shocks
Set them at 4-4.5 for 2 up and 3 for solo.

I have a 15 CVO SG and I have swapped out a few pairs of shocks .I recently had a set of 17 street glide coil overs I was pretty happy with them I would say they're probably about 25% better than original coil over HD shocks . but just recently I came across a used pair of 11 inch pro action shocks I have to tell you I'm very impressed by these shocks they have 2 1/2 inch of travel which is more than the stock 12 and it has two ways of adjustment one is the spring preload the other is a bleed valve for the compression and rebound . The key to a good shock is being able to adjust the compression and rebound to your liking . you can make it plush or hard with a matter of just turning a screw. my point being is if you can make 11 in shock feel awesome the 12 inch version they have or the 13 version must feel just as good or better because of more travel .if you're looking for a good shock that's made in the USA has a lifetime warranty built to your specification outstanding customer service from all the reviews I have read.cost 795 Pro action Street shocks probably The best shock for the money

Experiment with the settings, mine were set for a 200+ rider, the ride was very rough.

I adjusted them all the way down, i'm 150 lbs, with about 25 lbs in the bags and i think the ride is good. I always ride 1 up.

Try different settings, sometimes we are too quick to buy something new rather than working what we have.

After markets maybe great, much better, however since i dialed the stock shocks in i'm very satisfied with ride and handling.

Same here, Owners Manual shock setting has to be way off...
I'm 205 & wife is 150,,, I tried the reference setting in the manual,,, rode like a log wagon... The sales rep at dealer suggested having it at 2 when we rode home from dealer,,, I have it set almost dead on at 5, still a little stiff but nothing like the recommended setting.

I think these shocks were made for the 400lb guys. With their mobility scooter wives in tow.
