Default 2016 CVO Limited heated grip change?

We own a 2016 CVO Limited. Although the stock grips are aesthetically pleasing to the eye they are not comfortable at all for me. A little age has caught up to me and I now need much softer grips. I've had Kuryakyn ISO-grips in the past and they were very comfortable. However, it appears they are not heated or compatible with the stock SE HD grips. I want to get softer grips and retain the " heated " feature. Any suggestions?

Heated grips in Arizona? Is that a thing?

When I put them on mine (a little colder here), the stock ones don't fit CVOs due to the inner bar diameter being slightly smaller.
Possibly due to an extra layer of chrome plating on the CVOs. And of course the CVO grips are twice as much money. They get you coming and going.

Sometimes it gets a little cold here depending on what time of year it is. Arthritis & cold hands don't go together. The search continues...

I've used several different pairs of HD gloves with the gel palm in the past but they don't help. I'm sure some other company produces a better pair of gloves with thicker gel in the palm area but I have not found them yet!

You might look at Grip Puppies or one of the knock offs of them. In the link he went with the thick version, they make a regular version as well. Might be worth a try for you?

Thank you for the tip. I will check them out for sure! Still looking for gloves that have more gel than the HD gloves.

I just installed the Grip Puppies. What a bit@h! I followed the instructions and just used soapy water. I managed. Will report in the future my opinion. Thanks for the idea!

If you every need to change them, use WD40. To remove a grip, lever it open a bi with a screwdriver or the like and squirt wd in there and work the screwdriver around the grip. It will slide off. To install a light spray on the bar and in the grip gets them to slide right on. In an hour or so, the grip will feel like it;s glued on.

Hope you like them. I had a set on a bike with 7/8" bars. They were comfy, heat still came through when I tested, but they made the grips just a little too big. Not bad, just my fingers didn't fit around the way I liked.

Enjoy!!
