Could this be a clutch related issue (Dealer Thinks So). When cruising around, going about 60/70mph and lets say some 4 wheeler wants to see the V in action when I romp on it RPM’s will increase but the bike dose not go? Then it sound and feels like it releases and doses its thing.
I agree it is your clutch slipping. I know nothing about the VROD. If it was my Fat Boy I would pull the clutch inspection cover (derby), loosen the lock nut. Then turn the clutch adjuster screw in (clockwise) until it lightly seats. Then back it off between 1/2 and 1 full turn. Use an allen wrench to hold it in place and tighten the locknut to 72-120 inch pounds.
My Fat Boy also has separate oil put in the Primary. If too much is put in or the wrong type oil it will cause the clutch to slip.
The best bang for the buck is to buy the HD service manual. It will give clear an easily understood instructions on maintaining your VROD.
Good luck
