Does the new CVOs run hot like their standard counterparts?

I agree with hotter. I had a Limited and it was pretty warm. My CVO is definitely warmer. I gutted the CAT out of the head pipe and added the night rider FL-VIED-10 AFR's set at 14.1. Helped a lot and didn't hurt the mileage. Get about 43 mpg running in the low 70's on the highway. My 103 Limited with the PCV while cooler, would never break 39 mpg. Taking off the lowers will make a difference but I don't care to do that.

Hot to the point of being unbearable, burning your leg hot, very lean and rough running and melting the rear brake switch leaking fluid and loosing rear brakes.

HD Has a major recall going.

Quality American Product..............wait that's not true, most of the parts are foreign ............at least made/assembled in America, or is it really ??

You will need a pair of Kevlar insulated, water cooled pants its so hot !!

And need an eye glass strap to keep your glasses on it vibrates so bad !!

Remember to keep your mouth open when idling to keep from chipping teeth !!

Wait another week I'm sure you will have a recall.

Changed out my pipes, heat not really a problem now except in a traffic jam!
