Default Rear Brake Very Hot

I have an 09 CVO Fatbob. I only have 4000 miles, and I already had to replace a rear brake bad and the whole brake assembly is very hot. Front ones as cool as a cucumber. No, I don't use my back brake more than my front ones. I thought maybe the wheel might been out of kilter, but it's straight as an arrow. Anyone else having this problem? I only ride it around town. Bummer.

Check to see if the brake pad is rubbing the rotor by lifting/ jacking up the rear wheel and then rotate the wheel.

Thanks, I'm going to check both rubbing and sticking.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME!!!!! The rear wheel bearing was failing and it was helping keep the wheel in place!!!!! Check the bearing asap!!!!! I have an 08 rocker and the rear wheel bearing on the brake side failed twice in 14 k miles. The second time at 65 mph which did 1200 bucks damage...Do a search on here, tons of problems with the factory bearings. Timken and All ***** make good ones and the only cost 30 bucks for a set. Be safe!

Have had this prob. with my wifes dyna since new in 03. Never have gotten it figured out. Always accused her of draggin on the pedal. That always went over well! LOL. But really everything checks out ok by myself, the dealer and my Indy shop. It just likes to eat rear pads.

This may or may not apply, but, once I thought I would give myself better rear brakes, adjusted them up too tight and the same thing happened. Maybe back off the adjusting rod a turn or so and see how that goes. my .02.
