Now that starter motors are much improved I'm fine with the electric foot and I grew up kick starting.

If you use brass acorn nuts on your solenoid (and large relay if you run one, I use a Ford truck starter relay) it protects the studs and you can bridge 'em with a screwdriver in a pinch without burning the ends of the copper stud.

I'm doing this conversion on a '71 right now.

Or, If ya change Exhaust...I love the original SuperGlide Exhaust System....

The bike I'm doing didn't come with exhaust. I bought a set from Paughco to match up with the STD heads.
