shovels and evos dont care - we use the ultima ignition from midwest some differ like an oil thread, been using them in my shop 20 years one came back led timing light burned out that sets it

maybe the way some install it and not the unit is the fault

 

And I lean towards Stock [O.E.] last a long time... Single fire is a waste [pun intended] IMO unless you dual plug etc.. I still like the Dyna-S, but, I am accustomed to mechanical advance mechanism maintenance!!!!

 

There is no advantage 1 over the other --- it's the price of a new coil for the single -- the Ultima is a great set up , mark where the notch is on the old one and install new at the same place , timing will be right on

 

But...It only costs 30% more to keep yer $$$ at home... I'm thinking these days ...we need it!! Could get worser tho!!!!! Hell China kinda already owns us.
