I got a new rear pipe to clear my kicker return spring and also a rear exhaust support bracket.....i had to micky mouse an extra bracket because the angle of the mount on the pipe is different then the angle of the support bracket that mounts to frame..... heres a picture to better understand.....now my question is how do i get the rear pipe supported properly?
That looks like a Exhaust support [hanger] for a Dresser to my Eye. That pipe sticks out a long ways...and the setup I see ain't gonna work too good.. Elongate the Hole [at the head] on that chiwanese Pipe to where it runs closer to the bike and then you should be able to go almost straight up to the Pipe from the Hanger!!! BTW I was taught to mount my pipes such that you can pick your bike up by the exhaust pipes... Never ruined a head [mounting flange] yet!!!!
