Motor in backwards?

 

I'm thinking he has custom drive gears for the oil pump.

 

A couple of years ago I talked to a guy at the Super Swap in Syracuse. He had a backward engine shovel there, I don't remember if it was the bike in this video or not.

I spent quite a while talking to him about it, but I don't remember a lot of the conversation (being years ago). He told me he did it for the challenge. He said he had it at Sturgis too.

 

For the Challenge... Hmmph. I think I would be looking in the other direction.. Like the hottest chick in the world.... LOL.... now that's a challenge.. especially for this old man...

 

so this means the bike runs backwards, reverse style ?

 

the give away for me is that its a very clever photo chop is the left throttle

 

The bike is supposed to have a left throttle. Everything on the bike is a mirror image. I looked at every bike in the background looking for more flipped video but everything is correct. The motor is simply installed in the frame backwards. That is my $.02.

 

it is not a photo trick...everything on the bike is installed backward....the oil pump on the front...the homemade exhaust to fit that side....and the clutch release to go around the exhaust wouldn't exist if the video was reversed...
