Hello everyone again. Can anyone tell me if the center post dimensions, both inside and outside, are the same for the fxe and the flh?In other words could you install fixtures some would call them and i would probably call them collars in a fxe that are used in a flh for a pogo sprung seat.
Ok,thanks for your input. The year of fx is 1975.I would have thought all fx bikes center posts would have been the same.Would you mind telling me what ones are the same as the flh and which ones aren't,in terms of years that is?
on the frame line the tube may or may not have been totally machined we are talking AMF btw
order a bushing and the tool v twin has the tool but if you have a lathe you can make one its a hammer install stepped piece of steel
you will need the back of the bike up about 2 feet or more - not only to see what your doing but drills and tools for the bottom plate - seen them bolted and seen them welded in place
the pogo has a mushroom washer with a flat side - that is machined so the bottom nut has a stay to tighten the works in place - so your plate needs that mimicked
