Lean Angle?
lean angle before, but I never really thought about it.
Is this the angle where the foot pegs will scrap the ground?
Is this the angle where the bike becomes unstable?
I am posting this here as I feel the shovel forum has the
people with the most knowledge about motorcycles.
As in my 83 FXRT, probably one of the highest clearance bikes Harley made (for police service) It really doesn't come into play unless the angle of the bike needed to make the turn based on speed reaches too low (hightest lean angle) Not necessarly when the pegs scrape, because the pegs will fold up, it's where the base of the pegs will scrape. If you do add ons the angle will change unless they fold like the ones in factory specs.
I made use of it, as I raced Waterman Canyon out of San Bernadino up into Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead frequently. I folded the pegs up before I started and pulled my legs up on my bags, made use of the anti-dive a lot... lol. Also made a good chunk of change beating the rice rockets up and down the canyon. Could have been better but thing is, some of the turds didn't pay, and ran out on me as I sat on the finish line.
