Default Help with Dyna 200i-p install

I just purchased the Dyna 200i. I'm trying to install it but I just need some clarification. Am I supposed to remove all of the old ignition? cam and everything?. I am a rookie at this so bare with me. I'm just wondering how this thing will work if I remove everything, there will be nothing but the bolt hole left. Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance.

Default 2000i

You remove everything down to the cam, Then screw the gold cup to the cam. then mount the dyna plate with the same two posts that you used to mount your points. then you have to wire it as per instructions and time it as per instructions.

Default by the way

By the way, you'll have to drill out the hole that the points wire went through in the cam cover so the new three wire system will fit

Maybe thats the part I'm missing, I don't have a gold cup. Was that part of the old ignition or should it be part of the new?

you have to buy the gold cup (sensor cup) HD P/N 32402-83 or aftermarket Drag/J&P The cup mounts where the adv wts used to the indent goes into the engine cam indent then a small screw holds it in (screw comes with cup if thru J&P) HD P/N for the screw is 2611B
