I am currently on a 78 shovel just got it and getting it in shape, been out for awhile but I'm back now, just bought a used dual disc wide glide and I would like to know what years produced the dual disk wide glide...any help would would be appreciated.

1980 was the first dual disc FXWG wide glide. I bought the tubes back then to use on my old style brackets. I ran it that way for 28 years before a truck ran over it. The FLT's had them about the same time.

YEP flt has twin brakes BUT the calipers have bigger pistons than the wide glide that are the same as the FX and sporty twin brakes - same 10 inch rotors on both
