l'm taking the Mascot to the 110th. Need to do a handoff. PM me to meet up. l will be there Fri thru Sun.
Thank you Curt for carrying the Mascot from AZ to WI. This journey will add a lot of miles to the Mascot's Trail this year. Please be so kind to let me know the route you took in order to add it to the 2013 Mascot Map and post some pics.
I will post at FB as well and ask if anyone is willing to take over the Mascot from you.
Mascot begins its travels to Milwaukee today via Tucumcari, New Mexico, Kansas City, Kansas and Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Will be in Sheboygan on the 28th. Looking for a handoff in Milwaukee.

Wow... that's 1,900 miles!
If you're going to watch the opening parade, look out for the 10 Dutch guys on their '40s era liberators!
When I went to the 105th I found it near impossible to find people I knew unless I had their cell phone number or made arrangements ahead of time. Willie said afterwards they were not prepared fopr so many bikers, seems he said there were over 5M there, although its just an estimate. Coolest thing was as we were riding up the highway coming from Chitown there were people sitting on every overpass with signs welcoming us to Milwaukee.
Well prior to heading to Milwaukee the flag went from Verrado, AZ thru Clifton/Morenci, up the Coronado trail, thru ShowLow and the Beeline Highway. So that was 622 miles. Add the trip to Sheboygan, WI where l stayed and a run down to Milwaukee to hand off to Smitty901, that makes 622 + 1933 + 60 for a total of 2,615 miles l carried the mascot. lt was lucky l met up with Smitty and explained the situation since no one volunteered for a hand off. Otherwise it would have had 1,933 miles back to Phoenix.
Moderator edit:
Some additional info from an email sent by Never2Late: "Smitty901 on the left. Me Never2late on right with white shirt. Sep 1, at a Taco Bell 1/4 mile south of Milwaukee HD in Milwaukee. lt was just Smitty, his wife Susan (who took the photo) and myself."
