fishing line as though u r flossing it off, hair dryer helps
Yes!! MUCH safer than using a screwdriver. If the screwdriver slips, you have a bad scratch in the paint. Combination of hair dryer and fishing line is pretty safe.
got a rainy weekend starting tomorrow, so i'll be in the garage pulling these and finding a good spot for my guardian bell. got to get ready for my upgrades next week! new exhaust, new breather, and re-jet.
That is too funny - I did the same thing with the horn. I hardly ever use it but could not stand the sound - made me feel like I was riding a scooter.
I love the bike but the factory mirrors sucked too - the stems are too short so you get a great view of your shoulders no matter how you adjust them - so they had to go too.
Although I liked the look of the factory pipes, riding a bike that sounded like a weed wacker was not for me - so i put on the VH two into two along with the heavy breather and the remap - makes a HUGE difference in performance.
The only real down side I have found (I dont mind scraping my pegs) is the
space between the rear tire and the fender - and the little reflector they put in there - WTF? They could have put a nice all-in-one led brake/signal under the fender (sort of like the V-Rod) and taken up some of that open space.
Totally agree on the LED taillight. Surely someone is working on this ?

+1 on the taillight. My buddy just got a '13 vrod muscle and I love the integrated back led that is under the fender. I'd love something similar on the BO.
