Marcus, it takes some time at first but every old family photo I've received over the years I've taken and written the names and if I know it dob and dod of each person in photo. I have every one of them scanned and saved to an external hard drive.
I cannot believe how many family members have asked for copies over the years. Easy peezy, just upload them a WalMart photo account and they have them printed at their local Wally.
Yes, I plan to scan them into a computer. I need to find a decent scanner though. Those are becoming a thing of the past. I have some of the family history written down but need to make a digital record of it.
