maybe someday. there has been spoke rims ever since the very first motorcycle was built.
Has there been people crash because of spoke rims? just curious
I have seen some in person and plenty online. They mostly look like crap. Occasionally I see one that looks marginally OK.
Fat Boy wheels will fit but look weird unless you also change to Fat Boy fenders, at least up front.
I mostly want something easier to keep clean and looking good. The cadmium plating on my old bike's wheels sucks. Even chrome spokes would be easier than than cadmium.
Ideally, I would like an chrome plated aluminum billet wheel that would look like regular spokes but would really be a one piece billet wheel. I have yet to find such a thing. Makes me think about buying a machine and make them to sell.
I have chrome Harley slotted six spokes on mine. I love the look of spoke wheels but they are too high maintenance, both cleaning them and having to tighten the spokes what seemed like weekly. Being able to plug a tubeless tire is also a huge plus.

Not necessarily the rims, but tubed tires. They will blow out when a tubeless tire may only get a slow leak.
I changed my spoked wheels for better spoked wheels. I believe a Heritage deserves spoked wheels for that classic look. My 60 chrome plated spokes still look good after 15+ years. The wheels are tubeless and don't leak. They are American Wire Wheels. Don't know if they are still in business.

Prot, go with polished stainless spokes. High quality and you can order direct from them
