I don't suppose that any of you guys who have changed your rear fenders would still have the original rear fender struts that they would want to part with, would you?
Here is my current set up. Stock Xbones headers modified by cutting the front header to be a bit shorter than stock and then cutting the rear header to it is the same length as the front. Wrapped the headers with DEI Titanium wrap and installed a set of upswept cocktail shakers that I got on eBay. Pretty happy with the look. The sound is good too although I think it can improve once I add a tuner and maybe play around with the baffles a bit. I tried posting a link to a video below of the bike running with this setup.
I went with the Vance and Hines True Duals with Fish Tails. A few other mods as well. And yes, the wiring has been cleaned up.
Rides better with the lower center of gravity from the new seat. A La Rosa. Had a GREAT experience dealing with them.
Never heard of STF, but looks like the Paughco pipe without shields and painted or coated. Would really like to know if anyone else has done something like this and how it sounds.
BTW, sold touring bike and back on a softail. Kinda primitive, but more real.
