It'll be the new motor, whatever that turns out to be from what everyone is saying. 4 Valve 107. There's a very long thread over on Tech about it.

Hell yeah dude, Knowing HD though they would take the lowrider S and put a modern modified FXRT/FXRP fairing (or maybe a completely new one) on it and call it a sport glide lol

Dyna frame? Meh."

Shape of things to come:
For the 2018 model year, expect to see a new "shared" frame for both the Dynas and touring models.
The shared part will be the core frame. Rears will be bolted on and different. Not sure yet about the necks.

Also, Dynas and touring bikes will have counterbalanced engines -- perhaps no more "rubber mounts" (although I can see smaller-scale "vibration dampeners" between the motor and frame. The new "8-valve" motor will be too tall to fit otherwise.)

Default New Sport Glide for 2017 ???

Recently read that Harley has re-applied for trademark status on the name "Sport Glide". Many of us recall the FXRT Sport Glide which was available from 1983 through 1993.

I've also heard rumors about a new Dyna model as well as a new 106 cubic inch motor w/four valves per cylinder for the 2017 model year.

I don't know about you but I'd love to see a 2017 FXDSG Dyna Sport Glide to pick up where the FXRT and FXDXT models left off. Been waiting 14 years for Harley to bring back a T-Sport or FXRP/T style motorcycle.

Seeing I finally got tired of waiting and recently purchased a new Low Rider S Harley will probably come out with some type of Dyna sport touring model for the 2017 model year.

2000 FXR4
2003 FXDXT
2016 FXDLS
