After relocating my coil to under the cow bell I needed to move my horn. I got an "OEM Replacement Car horn" from Advance Auto to put in the front down tube area like the non Custom models. After making up a bracket for the down tubes I ended up finding a place to stash the stock horn. Since the OEM horn was so cheap I figured I'd try to wire both up. It works!
Now I get simultaneous high tone "Meep!" from the new horn, and low tone "Honk!" from the original. Combined they're pretty loud.
New Horn "Meep!"
old horn from under Cowbell "Honk!"
Also made a DIY tank lift our of some spacers that came with a TV Wall Mount. Since I have a 1200C with the under bar speedo, I couldn't use the commercially available options. This got me 1". Subtle, but I'm happy with it.
That'll work . Use the braided line for looks because performance is not an issue.
Also, what's the reason for the filter? There's no intake on these vent lines so.......is it just for looks? How long will it take to clog it up I wonder and if it clogs will it restrict venting?
I would rout the hoses below the frame and terminate them with an open end zip tied to the frame rail. The minor amount of blowby won't create a hazzardous situation.
This plan is going sideways. The chrome hose ends I got from DK don't fit. Diameter is too big to go on the banjo fittings :/ Might be able to space it out with some washers, not sure yet. Have to be sure the banjo lines up. I'll work on it.

The simplest things are always the most aggravation.
Certainly better but not throwing away the old bolts....
Looks a damn sight better doesn't it? Wouldn't it be cool if you could hard pipe it with some chrome supply lines? They're chrome plated, soft copper so you could bend them where you want them.......But nah...

Painted my back wheel (late into the night last night) over a couple cold Yuenglings. I used the kitchen table (wife's out of town) to tape it up and sprayed it in the shower (just kidding) with satin epoxy paint.
I'll be cleaning and painting the front one tonight while I finish off the last of the 12-pack.
