Insurance adjuster came today and said it's likely a total loss.
Now what to replace it with...
Can't you sue for pain and suffering, personal anguish, medical expenses and of course, loss of consortium? You may think you have "just" what you feel now, but what are you going to do when arthritis and pain kicks in years ago?
I didn't make the rules as times have changed. You owe it to yourself to do some soul searching and determine what is right. God speed on your recovery and search for your new scoot.

Who would I sue? The coyote foundation of New Mexico?
They're gonna give me an estimate with and without the mods, but she said she can't imagine it not being totaled either way.
So now it's Rushmore time. Just gotta decide now if I want another street glide or a road glide. The shark nose has been growing on me.
Had a Road Glide. Nice bike. Different riding a fixed faring rather than a Batwing. See if you can take one out for a while, and if you like the feel if it. Good luck with the insurance. tp

Just go see Nitro. You know what to do.
My 30k mile Fat Bob turned into a 2 mile Road Glide in about 45 minutes ;-)
I will say I have buyers remorse.... I'm remorseful that I didn't buy a bagger 10 years ago.

Seriously, take one for a spin and whatever you think you don't like - come back here and read up on that topic and how to fix it (if really necessary).
I got my Ohlins and PS Monotbues today now I just need to install them (and also the floor board spacers) and then I can actually contribute to this thread!

Southpaw Super Glide: A Left-Hand-Drive 1979 Harley FXE Built to Fit the Rider
Finally got time to remove my CFR's last night and got the 2-1 headpipe on and fitted another single CFR Found out real quick the 2-1 headpipes are about 5" shorter than the duals. Made a run to auto zone and I got some 1 3/4 pipe and got it fitted. Just have to go home and weld it up. The single CFR definitely has more growl to it

my $.02...
I've had a Street Glide, a Road Glide, 2 Road Kings, a FatBoy and a Deluxe. See sig line for years.
IMO - The Road Glide is by far the best riding bike I have ever ridden for long distance riding/touring. If you do alot of that, get one. The bike is stable at high speeds and with the right windscreen it's almost like riding in a car. If you just want a bagger, any of them will do, they're all great bikes.
