I test fit the handlebars and new risers. There is too much paint buildup on the new risers. The handlebars wont fit in them. I am sending them back and having them send me another set. I was thinking of removing the excess paint but i would probably mess something up.
Edit: went out there and messed with it some more and here are some crappy fuzzy pics of the results. I am still waiting on the solid black riser bushings. I'll be taking the bars back off to run the wires internally.
Went for a ride in the 90 degree heat to a brewery having a small bike/hot rod show. Pretty casual, no judging or classes or anything like that. There weren't a lot of bikes there, but most of the ones there were pretty cool. Not only did I have the only Dyna in the parking lot, but the only Twin Cam.

Looks awesome! Love the grips. Am I seeing the throttle housing there covered in tape?
@SIXDD Going to look good!
Those grips never go out of style ;-) Nows the time to change out the hand controls! Not 100% sure if you can run single disc with the larger master cylinder or not? ( in case you wanted to go dual in the future) I bought these POSH switches but never used em their cool though...Ignition and horn I put on my console and turns (L/R) are buttons on the left side of the bar. http://www.qtmi.com/amerstreetHANDCONT.html http://www.posh-factory.com/product.htm
Nows the time man!!
I was in a hurry posting this but you get the idea.
Switched from Fwds to Mids with a bungking shifter link, only did a quick ride home with it (been raining here like crazy, managed to catch a break in the rain) but oh I am happy to be back to Mids.
Also found that it is super easy to find N now, it was always difficult before (not sure if that's due to the new link or the switch to Mids or both, but either way I'm freaking stoked)
