I've was on many of the same roads as you guys in 2012 and again recently. Love the west - anywhere!
I have a friend that said the city of Twenty Nine Palms cut down a bunch of the palm trees and they now call it Twenty Nine Stumps. lol.

I was not in the military but I do wear that Nautilus hat to keep the guys in the public eye and I have a thing for submarines. I agree with you - those guys and gals are the reason we can do what we do.
