I also have the HD 360 peg mounts on my engine guard. I also added floorboard extensions to move my feet out 1" from the engine giving me plenty of room to move my feet in different positions for comfort.

HD long angle, had this pair since my first Harley in 2000, this is my 5th bike.

I have these mounts:



and these pegs:



As you can see in this photo, I have them mounted relatively low. That gives me a number of different foot/leg positions--(1) as intended with the soles of my boots on the pegs, (2) with my heels on the top of the pegs, (3) with my heels on the footboards and the toes boots on the pegs (I have big feet--size 12--so that last one might not work for everyone with the brake position etc.).
