Working on front fender spacers/bolts. I have some chrome spacers that I can cut in half. I"m pretty sure I can make them work. I 'll be painting the spacers with some VHT satin black epoxy. I have some hex head bolts that would work but I am going to order some socket cap bolts and some nylock nuts.
Actually, I kinda like how it looks without the front fender.
Changed the oil in all 3 holes, then decided the gravel dust coating the engine and primary cases was unacceptable and gave it a wash, wax, and polished the pipe and other chrome. And hey, another reason to show off the new bars too.
Packed up the bike with beer and supplies, and took a nice 60 mile cruise across the boarder into Wisconsin for a friend's bachelor party. Proceeded to get nice and hammered, almost drowned after flipping a canoe (life jackets are important, lesson learned...) and otherwise enjoyed a great weekend on the lake.
