This is my '16 FLHX on the Kentucky River bridge at Gratz, KY. Summer travel plans include riding the Natchez Trace and covering lots of the backroads throughout the Bluegrass State. One of the first things I did when I got it home from the dealership was kick the crap out one of the saddlebag lids, so to say I need some coverage would be an understatement.lol

Texas bugs off the bike on our annual ride to New Mexico and Arizona. Sorry my son can't use them on his Heritage.
I'll be moving to S.C. In August and I plan to ride in the 500 miles down there from Virginia and then do a road trip up to Maggie Valley and Cherokee N.C. towards the end of the month.
Took a 7 day road trip from Long Island up through CT, MA, VT, NH and Maine. We climbed Mt. Washington on the bike and watched the sunrise from the summit, rode through Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, visited Portland, Kennebunkport, Salem and Boston.
Here's a photo of the bike on Mt. Desert Island in Bar Harbor at Sea Wall pond.
Last year, my girlfriend had just finished a girls week in New Orleans for her 50th birthday party. Maybe she was feeling guilty for leaving me at home but she asked me what I wanted to do for my 50th birthday as I follow a year a behind her. Yup! I'm the younger man! Normally we spend our vacations together on some warm weather beach on a dive vacation but this was my chance to utter the word.... STURGIS!
"I think that I would like to go to Sturgis." I said, and with that, the seed was planted. Even though I log a lot of miles yearly, this trip was going to be intense. I started thinking...I want to go to Canada! ... I want to ride the Beartooth Highway! ... I want to see Old Faithful! ... and the list just continued and that list grew and over the last year that list started to form a route. And that route took shape into what is now a 14 day trip, that will take me six thousand miles. A route that will cross two countries, two providences and nine states. This is my once in a lifetime trip that I will start at the end of July and I can't wait!
The route, Starting and Ending in Las Vegas
The Bike, a 2016 FLHTk that I bought four months ago and has just under 8K miles on the odometer already.
