As the title states....it was bound to happen. I was out today w/ couple buddies in farm land and after 2 launches as I can to a stop sign I heard marbles coming from below. I though at first I was my motor, but ten put my ear closer and it was coming from the primary.
Upon opening the primary the 2 smaller pieces fell out (blew to sides off the basket). Very lucky though if you see in the pics one got tucketed above the comp and the others just stayed below and somehow didn't lock anything up.
Time for an Evoultion Industries clutch basket to be comboed w/ my Scorpion clutch. Here goes some money....I guess it costs to play!
Thinking of getting the 46 tooth (I believe the other option is 49). It says it raises the RPM's, but I already have the 30/70 gearing, so I don't want to go to crazy.
Could happen on built motors when launched hard and the force from the clutch shatters it. Happened to my father in law, but his blew out he back where the bearing is and the whole assembly just rattled around.
Should have done it right away when I did my clutch, but the $1,000+ price tag of clutch and basket combo was hard to swallow at the time.
