I don't particularly like the wheels but was thinking I could set it up so they are facing my back and maybe secure some sort of cushion or some other **** on the wheels for when i'm traveling. Can you tell me what size bag that is. Really looks great. The link below is some ideas i like.. preferably the black or red hard shell bag with skulls. think it would complement my bike.. although, I love the added storage space on your
bag.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but the problem you are going to run into is that you're asking something (a bag) to do something it's not designed to do. Conventional hand luggage is designed to be dragged through airports, overhead bins, baggage handling, etc. It's not designed to be tied down to the back of a motorcycle and run 80MPH down the highway. I found that out the hard way. When I first started traveling on a bike I had a nice American Tourister carry on. Well, long story short, the bag that had held up really well for four years of intense air travel disintegrated after one long trip. It wasn't water resistant at all and the materials inside weren't designed to hold up in a deluge of the type we ran into.

A hard side is even worse. The hard sided polycarbonate molded bags are nice - I have one - but their strength comes from the shape and integrity of the molded shell. If you try to attach tie down points to one they will rip apart quickly, even with backing plates of thicker plastic. Plus, again, not weather resistant.

I have a Kuryakyn roll bag that's done over 10,000 miles and works like new. I did notice that some of your pictures link to luggage COVERS and not actual luggage. You might consider getting a motorcycle bag that's shaped similarly to an airline carry-on and then getting a cover to go over it.

Or, if you don't like an H-D Tour Pak, get on Ebay and look for vintage motorcycle trunks. There are a lot of old bike trunks out there that were made of fiberglass and are as good now as when they were made, they're cheap, and they have some interesting shapes. Get one of those, have it painted to match your bike, put handles and wheels on it maybe. I'm getting ready to paint and install an old Bates trunk on my '10 Road King just because I happen to have it and don't want to shell out for a Tour Pak right now.

Anyway, just some thoughts, not trying to rain on your luggage parade. You have a hell of a cool bike.

I'm sorry I don't have a picture of solo setup right now I'm set up with the two up. I have future plans for the two up so I don't want to change it back to 1 up. But my opinion it looks great one up.
I used quarter 20 flat head socket bolts and Fender washers. I put the soft part of Velcro on the fender washers. Done a couple trips this bag is has done perfect.
It's a t-bag dekker 2. I will put a link but you might have to copy paste the link

Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I will post a couple more pictures of the rack this is the two up rack but it works the same for the 1up rack. Except the hole pattern is different.

Thank you super08. I'm on my phone it's a little harder to get around I wanted to put thanks on you. But I don't know how to do it on the mobile app.
I was just trying to help her out I think she's on the right track with the idea it will work. I would tend to agree with the rest a purpose motorcycle bag may be better Suited. My setup has really worked great so far. The tie-down points are perfect and it's solid and easy/quick to get off and on. For me it was very cost-effective and I really did not want to go the full Tour pack mode. Thank you again for posting the link.

Now my nose hurts, saw the cooler and pillow and chocolate rice crispies went flying everywhere to include my son eating in front of me, just Great! I was thinking on getting a tour pack to somehow modify for our min pin a few years ago to not board her, and I found one made specifically for pets looks like a tour pack dog cage, I changed my mind after he wanted the same overprice just for shipping. I just got a used solo rack last night and now back to brainstorming a way to bolt a small dog carrier on it on occasion.
