The riders haven't nicknamed a Harley Big Twin since the first Evo rolled off the line in 1984. Read up on your Harley history. You just want to hang an old tradition on a bike that the tradition doesn't apply to. That kind feels like Stolen Valor to me. Trying to make something look more " legit" than it really is. Trying to give it "cred", "gravitas", or whatever you want to call it, that it doesn't deserve. Because of course if you hang that on the bike then maybe a little will rub off on you since you're the one riding it? Is that really it? That's seriously how it looks to an old Shovel rider listening to you guys in here dreaming up names to call your new motor while you're sitting belly up to the bar talking to each other in the Starbucks.

I posted this in OT but...
Historically the last few years these were the announcement dates:
2016 Models: Aug 23, 2015
2015 Models: Aug 26, 2014
2014 Models: Aug 19, 2013
2013 Models: Aug 27, 2012
I bet bike mags have already done their "first ride" review of it and they're just sitting on the articles until the engine is announced, as per agreements they sign to be allowed time of the bike at press events.

Maybe I've been out so much I haven't had time to post, dude.
I've got no issue, I'm just pointing out it's lame to try to make the new untunable 9 valve motor into something it's not. I notice no one has actually successfully refuted anything I've said, just resorted to name calling. Well you can say whatever you want about me but that don't change the fact that it's super lame to try to pin a nickname on the new untunable motor that it doesn't deserve. Go ahead and try though.
