I plan on a ride up to this area of the White Mountains. Any recommendations of where to stay and must see spots? We diffidently plan on riding the Kamacnagus Hyw. The wife will be on her Tri Glide and I will be riding my Electra Glide. Sooo ready for a road trip!
Thanks
Hit every road you can, twice! Awesome place, beautiful and I can never get enough of it. The 302 through the Notch for sure is a must, make a loop around to the 16 and ride right up to the top of Mt Washington. North Conway is a great place to stay as well.
Kankamangus and Hurricane Mountain, also check out Cathedral Ledge.
Hurricane Mtn Rd out of North Conway over to Maine is fun. There should be a few gopro videos on YouTube if you want to get an idea what it's like.
302 through Crawford notch is a nice ride as well.
Enjoy the trip, lots of good riding in NH.
We ride that area at least twice a month. So many great roads but I'm not sure I would recommend Hurricane Mountain. Pavement is getting beat up and it is very narrow. Also be very careful when the sun is coming up and setting. As I said so many miles of great roads.

Where are you coming from?
I like the narrow, that's part of what makes it fun! Thanks for the heads up on pavement condition though - haven't been over it since early last summer.
Thanks guys good advice. FLHTK we are coming up from Ohio. How is the road going up Mt Washington? Crawfords Notch Check! Yea looks like good stuff.
We just did Mt Washington last month, it's the same as normal. If you have never been it's a slow ride up a steep mountain with no guardrails. Very pretty and bring a sweatshirt because it gets cold on top.
I was born and raised about an hour away and we go visit NH/VT every couple years to see my family. So many great roads up there its hard to list them all, check out the "Height of land" in Maine.
Rode this area back in July through all of the New England states and most of the roads were good and the scenery was awesome. One thing you might want to check on is if you plan to ride to the top of Mount Washington call and check the weather first. We went out of our way by an hour or so planning to ride to the top but they had it closed down for motorcycles that day due to 60 mph winds towards the top. Hate we missed out on that but sure appreciated them stopping us. Getting blown off the mountain might have had an adverse effect on the trip!
