It sounds to me that you really miss your sporty.... and I doesn't sound as if you be happy with anything else.. Maybe you should look at another sporty, Buell or even a V-rod.. Sounds more like your style of riding. ... Don't be a settler......
Any EVO Bagger can be made to look like a Streetglide. Just remove the trunk, passing lamps, change the front fender, remove the cage around the bags and swap out the seat. Or you can get a similar look by just removing the trunk and bumpers on the fenders, and change the seat like my 97" EG below. G.B.
Mine was an Ultra and is stripped down for local riding or I can mount the TourPak and and add a touring seat and be ready for Sturgis in a matter of minutes. I really like having the CC option for longer rides. I should update the pics to show the Enforcer wheel.

When the FLHS Evo came out it was the base model of the range, with no frills or batwing. The Standard took over that role a bit later, but with a batwing included. The Road King is a pimped out FLHS, which took it out of the budget end of the range and turned it into a custom model.
As for the SG, it is closer to the full dressers IMHO. Best starting point for a conversion of an Evo would be an FLHCU or similar. Quite a few owners of recent SGs and RKs buy a tourpak, so might as well start with one!
