Just thinking outside the box here. Is anyone aware of speaker housings that can bolt on to the engine guard that can house a 6.5" speaker? I don't really need/want lowers but some extra speakers would be cool. Kinda like over sized handlebar housings? I looked but found nothing. Maybe some dedicated audio folks might know? Thx
There's quite a few of them. Tune Tatas is a popular one I see posted. You could probably make some from headlamp housings. There's also some that built into the bar bust some serious bucks.
Thx guys !! Looks like the Tune Tata's are likely the least intrusive depth wise at 5.5". I'd likely mount them on the down side of the engine guard, so they'd damn near be lowers when it comes to rain
A few of us have bounced this idea around. Intense audio on fb is the only one that I've seen doing custom enclosures for the crash bar. At the tune of $1000 or so though It's a bitter pill to swallow. The down side is that other than lowers, everything else looks like, as Tailwind stated, a Christmas ornament imho. Lol!
Maybe others will throw out some ideas, but for now, it appears we are limited!

Get ahold of LL247. He is running some on his bike. I believe one of his employees is as well from what i seen from some Facebook pics and a video.
I painted some for a guy's showbike, but can't remember the name for sure. I want to say they were hogtunes, although most of the parts he brought me were from BadDad.

A few weeks ago I was out by LL247 and yes he and one of his employees is using a set up similar to what you have in the pictures and they sound dam good on there scoots( very clear and loud) with good tone quality.

Yeah ... Tune Tata's are about 7.5" OD x 5.5" D, so they're not terribly big/gaudy. Shipped cost of $150 is just a bit less than some generic (Chinese) vented lowers/pods. Gotta say that JTD Cycle Parts has been quick to answer questions. Matazu/Advan Racing/etc a bit less so....
