So i have finally had enough of my weeping breather blowing oil all over my bike. I plan on buying the DIY Head Breather System for Touring bikes that are for the stock stand off back plates that will require drilling and tapping into the standoffs. My question is once that is complete and the system is in place, what is keeping the oil from continuing to go into the air cleaner? The hole will still be in the back plates? It almost seems that there needs to be a plug in them.
Thanks for the help. I am going to go with the catch can too.
Our external breather systems with hoses don't vent into the air cleaner & throttle body anymore but vents into the catch can. You will need to plug the holes in your stock backing plate with either RTV or rubber plugs.

Thanks Clink,
Thats the DK unit right? And what it RTV? Does the kit come with plugs?
Sorry about the above log-in mistake, above. Brain fade,I guess. Yes,it's our DIY External Breather System kit. http://www.autozone.com/sealants-glu...e/rtv-adhesive is a good place to get some RTV,very handy stuff that is useful for many things.
Our kit does not come with rubber plugs but you could pick some up at the same place as the RTV.

I used a 3/16" drill to ream the Oil Passages to clean them up from any oil residue, sprayed Brake Klean in the passage and allow to air dry... Once dried I filled the passages with Permatex Red RTV that is good to 600* and will not shrink. I injected the RTV in the front until it started going into the bolt passage.
