Well PA. that is. Eleven hour ride my Bride and I. Beautiful day great roads and no close calls.
It was called Camp 18, just north of Seaside, Or.
Great museum and memorial to lumberjacks.
The equipment they used was massive, but they were logging the big redwoods so it had to be pretty hefty.
Also had a wonderful restaurant.

Not many safety guards or shields no heaters well one large one
My father was a railroader Track foreman I hitched a ride on an old switch steamer the yard crew kept as a pet. When I got home he likely tanned my back side then it was getting your attention not abuse. I later in life found out from my very wise father he watched helplessly as two men he knew well were cooked in wreck that took place in the same railroad yard I thought was a play yard, I never went back to play after dad tanned my butt he warned me. had it coming.
