Learn something new every day. That's pretty neat. Would like to see how those pinion gears are driven.

I went to a logging museum in Oregon a couple of years back.
It was called Camp 18, just north of Seaside, Or.
Great museum and memorial to lumberjacks.
The equipment they used was massive, but they were logging the big redwoods so it had to be pretty hefty.
Also had a wonderful restaurant.

Nothing like the PA Canyon, I try to make it to Wellsboro at least once per year. Been to Larry's on more than one occasion.

Default Great place

Not many safety guards or shields no heaters well one large one

My father was a railroader Track foreman I hitched a ride on an old switch steamer the yard crew kept as a pet. When I got home he likely tanned my back side then it was getting your attention not abuse. I later in life found out from my very wise father he watched helplessly as two men he knew well were cooked in wreck that took place in the same railroad yard I thought was a play yard, I never went back to play after dad tanned my butt he warned me. had it coming.

new cameras are nice look at this old picture love it

I bet it was cold no warm or waterproof boots
