Beautiful looking bike! I'm planning a similar fender chop on mine this winter, but modifying the stock fender instead. Any advice on chopping down the struts? I like how you incorporated the rear lights on the bolt.
@ drinktothat421,
the truth is, I just didn't feel like doing the coil relocation, I thought about it, but ive had that horn cover for a lot of years, on 2 other bikes. I just used the 72 reference so the sportster people would know what I was talking about. I had it on my fatboy, & road king. it was just sitting in my garage and wanted it on the 48, I kind of have an attachment to it . no other reason lol

You didn't end up using the provided bolts to attach the fender to the struts as I see that you are using the oem turn signals. Any tips on how or where I can get the bolts? I'm running some super short double ended threaded bolt to barely hold mine in place.
