Why did you put your mirrors so far down to where you have to take your eyes off the road? For looks???
I wouldn't even put the H-D fairing mirrors on because they're too low. I actually put the mirror "extenders" on my mirrors. That way I don't have to take my eyes off the road at all. I want all the help I can get with all those texting morons on the road.
Stay safe!!
With the 10" apes, I don't like how they stick way up...and they are in line with the gauges as I scan around.. they have not been a problem for me and I do like the look better below. Thanks
Well instead of what I did today this is what I did thru the summer.
First added a oil temp gauge and later on added a push button just above the temp gauge for a door opener.
Second did the breather bypass, 2" pull back handlebars.
3rd Moved tour pack forward for a single only. Led tail light, led saddle bag lights, color matched filler panels, CVO mufflers, HD solo seat with built in backrest.
All in all about 2k worth but would of been about 3k if not shopping around and picking up deals. This also included a new set of tires.
Corbins take a good while to break in properly. How much seat time have you given it?
I haven't ridden with it that long but over all comfort is not really the issue. The seat is a little lower than stock which I like but the way it is made makes it feel a little wider than stock. I have become very spoiled with my rider backrest and have wondered if that would make a difference. I may get on ebay and pick up a knock off backrest for the seat before I totally give up on it. I really want to like the seat because I like the way it looks on my bike.

I got tired of cleaning up after wife/kids leaving marks so I pulled the trigger on a set of these lids last week. Now I think I'm done....until after the snow melts next year anyway
I had a local shop that does window tint and 3M protector/Xpel wraps do the lids and tour pak. Keeps the stock look. I should have done the tank when it was new. The Harley kit is junk.
