Kinda looks like a "Hey look at me I'm on a Harley and can park anywhere" non marked parking space. Good luck with the claim. I'm thinking you are screwed and should take these pics down soon

Man that hurts to see a nice bike like that in that position. Probably a good thing you didn't see it happen as first instinct would be to crush the bug! I hope everything turns out for the best.

Some of these replies regarding the car driver make it sound like if she was a "babe" then all would be forgiven. What difference does it make what she looks like?

the fact that it appears you are in a no parking zone dosent help,,,,parking where you shouldn't not with a bike that is hard to see is not the best idea...if i was in my truck your bike would be below my sight line and i would only know it was there cause of the beeping....i try not to rely on other people for the safety of my ****.... just sayin

Sorry to hear about your bike getting dumped over, real glad you or know one was on it when she hit it. As a few have suggested at least get picture #1 down asap.

Amazingly, it did not crack or break the saddle bag, just left a black mark. Some dings etc on the opposite saddle bag and elsewhere. She has insurance and did leave a note. A good Samaritan fishing nearby heard the crash and came over and took these pics. He and his buddy also put it back up on the kickstand as it was leaking gasoline. We got back a couple hours after it happened. Had to twist a highway peg out from under the brake pedal to get it in riding order, but no problems riding it home at all.

My question, are there any potential hidden damages that I should look for. Don't want to get it repaired and then find additional or bigger problems. Thanks.
That sucks. I'm glad someone picked it up for you. I think I'd be in tears finding mine on it's side all alone... Someone did right by you.
Good luck with the repairs and be glad you weren't on it when she hit it.

Call the police, make a report, forget about the use of pictures. I agree looks like you're in a no park zone.
Tell the police the woman left her information because you were out hiking.
They will contact the woman to verify the info.
Then go to a dealer and have them assess damage, a small scratch you can see is nothing compared to the dent/bend you don't...and maybe don't notice for some time.

Others are right, don't park where you shouldn't. That's not saying this wouldn't have happened, but you'd be 100% in the right if it did...as for now, you're on a shaky leg.

Thanks all for the great feedback, it really helps. I was not in a no park zone. That sign is 40 feet across the parking lot right beside her vehicle near a walking entry gate. I was across the lot in a wide open (albeit unmarked) spot. There was vast amounts of space that wouldn't be quite long enough for a vehicle, but no problem with a parallel parked bike, or car for that matter. Her insurance has already started a claim and as soon as I am ready to give 'er up for winter, I'll have it fixed. She knew it was her fault, no question. Thanks again!

edited to add pic.
