I did! immediately put the seat on, but its too short for me, even with the forward controls, my knees are at 45* lol
and the handlebars dont have the dimples, so I cant install them - realized this After I took the others off so that was fun lol. Oh well, now I know how they work and will look at a set with the dimples.
Thats a bummer man. You can always internally route the wires for the handlebars. Thats what I was going to do if I kept them.
Couldn't find one tall enough for my 2002, so I ordered one that didn't fit and had it fabricated to fit and wal-la 19" rise, pillow will be in shortly, the wife will love it
I know what you mean about the back & drag bars. I have 10" on mine and used some riser extensions to get them a bit taller. Fit me perfectly.
I just love how the drag bars look though. Hard to ditch them haha. That dk custom tank lift, coil and ignition relocate, and speedo relocate(w/smooth top clamp and dummy light bracket) made such a huge difference on the bike. Couldn't have asked for a smoother install also. Hoping it looks as good with the 10" z bars
Popped on an old fairing that I had laying around. Wanted to see how I would like it with the tank lift and drag bars. I think it all flows well together. Not sure about it with the 10" z bars though

Yeah the drag bars look cool-
But the 10" Mini-Apes with Riser Extensions are so much more comfortable for me...they must look good too...won 2nd Place at Little Sturgis.
