Default Reflective 3M stuff

I don't care for them either but... in Pa there may be a regulation about reflector markers I have been told the 3M black in daytime reflective when lights hits the tape satisfies the requirement. It's shape can be designed as rider wants it. I believe it comes in a wide range of colors, I will looking into this during off season it won't be long here in Pennsylvania. I'm good to go till the salt hits the road they use liquid salt not good for old shiney. ride safely fearless

Took them off both trikes. Used a hair dryer to loosen them up. HINT, if you are going to do it, do it soon. The stock paint will fade a tad and you will have a darker rectangle where it was.

Y'all don't have an annual inspection like we do in TX. They can actually flunk the bike here for not having them.

Default Insurance opt out

I would very carefully read through your policy or, contact your ins carrier and ask. If you remove a federally mandated safety device from your vehicle and are involved in an accident, you are giving the carrier an open door to reject any claim.

I've been takin the off my PA bikes for years, no problem. In todays world the last freaking thing I would worry about is a federal mandate to keep a piece of plastic on the side of my bikes. Show me even ONE actual case where a insurance claim was denied because a reflector was missing!!!

And here I'm doing things to be as noticeable as possible. No, thanks. I even considered getting some kind of LED marker lights to replace them.
