Also, my '09. Recently added Andreani cartridges along with Ohlins rear suspesnion and it has be a drastic improvement, although I'm already regretting not paying more for the fully adjustable rear.
A small tab that was keeping it from getting flush very easy to figure it out. nothing visible, could be because my bucket was 08 before they HD had released the DayMakers... This Friday I will be installing the mototube cartridge kit from progressive, I will see if I can take the headlight apart and take a picture.

I had the same issue with the same lights. I got them installed, but was never really happy with the form, fit and function. Very bright, but I didn't like the beam spread or focus.
My opinion - $200 pretty much wasted on cheap chinese knockoffs. Having said that, I didn't want to pay $800 for the real ones.
I went back to incandescents with better Phillips bulbs. They are pretty good.
Before that, I also tried Xenons, but wasn't happy with those either. Ballast fitting issues, spread and focus issues.
In my opinion, the light source and reflectors need to be properly matched. I am kind of **** though and if all you want is loads of lumens but not great illumination of the road, then the cheap chinese daymaker knock offs will work for you.

I have heard and even experienced some of the bad optics with a unit bought directly from China (Aliexpress). I got a 7" LED (Daymaker Knockoff) for my wife's SuperGlide for $69. it is still better than the stock incandescent one that came with the bike. but you can tell something is not quite right. With the FB one on the other hand I was lucky, the light has greater range than stock incandescent and is also very bright. Combine the two and I was a happy biker (get it? happy camper) :P This is the thing about getting these aftermarket lights, sometimes they are spot on and sometimes not... again, it's a gamble either you get what you pay for or you get lucky.. and if you don't like they do sell pretty quickly on Ebay, keep stock or watch your $800 fly away !! Cheers !!!
Does anyone have, or has ever seen a picture of, a FB with a set of Frisco bars on it ?
I have only seen them on FXDB's and Sportsters, but am thinking about putting a set on my 14' FXDF.
Like these, but not sure how they would look.
