So, I'm picking up a '17 Street Glide this week and being in the Great White North (New England) the stock windshield will freeze me.
I've tried the search function but, nothing came up. which surprizes me as I'm sure it's been discussed.
I'm not looking for a barn door but, something that will push the air over my head without turbulence or looking through it.
So, what say you my favorite motorcycle test subjects, can you save me the expense of buying fifteen windshields from five manufactureres in seventeen different heights?
I replaced the stock shield on my '15 SGS with a Klock Werks 6.5". Huge improvement. Decided it was a tad to tall as always looking right at top edge so then bought the KW 5". No noticeable change in air flow. When I got the new bike, took the WS'r off and put the KW 5" on. The KW has better airflow over the WS. IMO
Another vote for LRS... i love mine and they constantly have sales. I tested all the above and this one kept the buffeting down the most. I have the 9" recurve in dark tint on my '16 SGS and it's definitely not a barn door.

Does the Dealership not have a loaner program for those windscreens?
Should be able to test ride several before deciding if the Harley one is for you.
I have this curved one and tinted and the name escapes me now that sends the air over the top of my and my passenger.
I have to sit up straight to see over it otherwise I am looking through it.
If I did it again, I might go with the one size shorter, but thats speculation that it might be better.
