Yeah I now can reach flat footed down to the pavement.
It's stiff, but still new. I rode about 80 miles on it yesterday and was non the less comfortable than the stock seat.

I put a Switchback fender on it a few months ago, cut the mounting tabs off and slammed it

It's not painted the same, my bike is big blue pearl, the fender is midnight sky and candy cobalt. This is an old CVO 9.5" fender I am fitting to my bike so I can have a long classic style steel fender to cover my 200mm tire. Didn't want to buy a glass fender and no one sells them in steel for 200mm

You couldn't reach the floor flat footed with the stock seat? On the lowest stock Harley there is? OMG!

Finally got my extended pullback risers installed. Bike was dirty when I started...and got dirtier as I worked on it.

But the grips are where I wanted them now!

Everything is long enough except the brake line. Gotta order one a few inches longer.

I'm only 5'9" but still needed the seat. They must make it for a reason. I sit square on my friends Slim S and 883. You have a Breakout? See the stock seat doesn't let your legs down on the sides... more of a fat *** seat.

Default got dirty

I got my new OLD 1996 Fat Boy home after my purchase yesterday. This is my first Harley. So I have a lot to learn. So today I went to Harley shop and bought all the fluids to change lubricants. Drained the 3 year old gas out, and put in fresh with seafoam additive. Cleaned the K&N Filter, and tried to fire her up. Wanted to warm her up before draining fluids. She fired up. Said "what the hell, may as well take her for a short ride. No plates yet but I had the title and bill of sale in pocket. Ended up riding her for an hour (had to make sure she was good and warm) to blow out / off the cob webs of 3 years in storage. Started in on 3 hole lube change. Crank case went well. Primary went OK, but had what I thought was TO MUCH metal shavings on drain plug. I didnt put new oil in it because I think it best to pull primary cover to inspect. Moved on to Trani, and cant find the drain plug. Some say its in between the the rear shocks, but there are several bolts screws under there. I am waiting for previous owner to find the owners or service manual. So I stopped for now. THAT WAS MY DAY. Today was a good day for this old man.
