never bought into the lifestyle thing. we rode and wrenched all the time, even when on the road. did'nt have a choice. camped all the time on the bikes and would have never had a radio or windshield on a bike.
there was a time when i said i would never have a bike with shocks on it. things change with age.
For me it's the bikes mixed with therapy. I've modified everything I've ever owned starting with a skateboard as a kid. My wife reckons I'm obsessed with Harleys. I spend three weeks of the month away working interstate to pay the bills so when I get home I drop the bags and head back out the door for a ride. A couple of hours riding around the twisty roads of Tasmania clears away all the $h!t from the previous three weeks and helps me settle back into home life. As long as you're out there enjoying yourself who gives a $h!t.
