Doing an oil/filter change on the truck this morning; there was a whisper that kept getting louder. I looked over at the bike covered and sleeping on the lift; I knew it was HER. The whisper turned in to voices; 'get this cover off me!'
I uncovered the bike and it was like seeing her for the first time; when they're covered you can forget just how beautiful these Beasties are. The cover might keep the dust off but gives the garage a somber feel; I'm going to leave the cover off and control my OCD Today I'm going to change up my battle flags, play 80's music way too loud, and enjoy a few beverages hanging out with my mistress.
Took a Klein tool bag and sewed some strap Velcro on it for a handlebar bag. Under $10 to make. Got the bag at Platt Electric for $6.00 and some two way Velcro at the fabric store for $3.00. I took the Klein tools patch off of it. I may get a H-D patch or something to go on the front later on.
