Um, that would have been late October here boys. Admittedly I packed mine up about 10 days ago- snow came a tad earlier than it has in the last few years (thus crazy amounts of road salt). Good to hear you aren't packing it in though.
Today I hooked my bike up to the battery tender (was -32C with the wind chill last night; -24F for those south of the boarder) and bought some Damprid for my unheated garage.
Well i started my wire tuck, ignition and coil relocation this evening but didn't finish. I couldnt find my tape or zipties. Imagine that! But i set my tank to check out how she would fit and i like it. I have a question though. Directions say to seal the tank which i will, but it says to have it pressure checked also. Where can i have it pressure checked at? Oh, just noticed the reflector on the back. Its gotta go.
Rode it about 100 miles from Houston to Beaumont Thursday night & froze my *** off lol. Then decided to do a wire tuck in the next few weeks. Since I will be messing with the wiring, decided to order parts for speedo relo. Then decided, since I'll be messing with the top clamp etc, I'd order a headlight relo kit from dk. And finally, since I'd be messing with the headlight; decided to get led replacement bulb. Lol.
Basically tuck job job that would only cost me zip ties and self adhesive tape turned into a couple hundred $ project lol.

So far today I've got the oil hoses tightened up & started on a few
other projects. But I cant decide if I like the front sprocket cover or
not though - opinions? It's easy enough to change so no big deal one way
or the other.... (chopped cover removed in pic below)
