I second the Olympia 2 piece rain Suit. I like mine.
Third it. Very well made, compacts into its own built in pocket, and the pants can be shortened to fit. For less than $200 for both pieces, a real bargain.

I have several Olympia products I bought over the years, Rain suit, Leather winter gloves, vest. Some of the best quality stuff I have ever owned.
Uhm, Why not just tie the loose pant leg with a little string or twine to keep it tighter to the leg and away from the pipes?
String is cheap, packs easily and can have several uses.
Quality rain gear is manufactured with material that does not melt or leave burnt plastic on the exhaust heat shields.
Unfortunately that's not always the case. Aerostich, Rukka, Klim, Dianese, among others offer expensive gear ($300-$600+ for pants) that can melt on pipes. The thing is, Harley-Davidson's (along with other cruisers) have their pipes placed in a specific place that gear can rub against them. Other types of bikes route their exhaust differently.
My Olympia pants were under $90. They are not Gore. Which would at least triple the price if motorcycle specific.
Well guys to be honest I did not want to do this, but I might end up wrapping my pipes headers like I had on my old Wide glide, no problems of pants melting on them, obviously you do not realise how hot these pipes are coming from wrapped up to newer ride, them damn Fatbob headers get hot even with the heatshields.
